It was the eighth consecutive Triplemanía to be held at the arena, and marked the 27th year in a row that AAA had held a Triplemanía show, and the 32nd overall show held under the Triplemanía banner since 1993.

短片《xXx》是由由新锐导演陈奕利执导，刘烨、高圆圆主演，献礼世界某知名品牌Diesel30周年 为《xXx》拍摄剧照的是著名香港摄影师夏永康(Wing Shya)，作为王家卫导演的御用摄影师，从《春光乍泄》开始，夏永康陆续为《花样年华》和《2046》拍摄剧照并制作电影海报，此外他还多次为张曼玉，梁朝伟，谢霆锋，张学友等人拍摄写真，是业内大名鼎鼎的摄影“大腕”。夏永康与陈奕利的初次合作是《天堂口》，此番陈导演操刀《xXx》拍摄，夏永康再度担任剧照工作，为该片拍摄的剧照极为精美，颇有油画质感，同时也表达出该品牌的高端品位。而这部短片的海报也由夏永康亲自设计：刘烨和高圆圆分坐两个房间，刘烨可以透过玻璃看到对面，而高圆圆面前却是一面镜子，只能看到落寞的自己……突破常规的构图，透露出剧情信息的同时，又把该片的艺术气质展示无遗。 在《xXx》中，高圆圆一人分饰两个角色，分别是刘烨前女友和“发廊妹”。该片艺术指导叶锦添为她精心打造了多款造型，几乎都相比以往有很大突破。既有她首次尝试的大波浪卷发，又有简单性感的毛衣造型，还有一款黑色吊带长裙造型，将高圆圆的高雅气质完美展现。片中她不仅挑战从未尝试过的造型、大跳踢踏舞，还有不少内心戏，相当考验演技。对于高圆圆的表现，导演陈奕利和搭档刘烨都给出了很高评价。刘烨在片中的造型简单却有型，拥有模特身材的他自然不担心美感，叶锦添也直言为他挑选服装毫不费力，几乎每件都可以穿的很好看。该品牌负责人表示，“从目前的视觉效果来看，当初挑选两位主角是非常正确的选择。他们很好的诠释出该品牌的时尚魅惑，今后不排除更多合作的可能”，而陈奕利导演则笑称刘烨和高圆圆是“最佳荧幕情侣”。
